Are you ready to move forward?
I am here to help
I often hear people who have experienced trauma say..
“It wasn’t that bad. Other people had it worse”
“I don’t understand why it still affects me. I wish that it didn’t anymore.”
“I feel like I don’t know myself”
My Approach
We’ll work together to explore and identify the painful experiences in your life that have an impact on how you feel today. I use EMDR therapy to allow you to process through these events in a safe and supported way. With EMDR, we are able to access parts of the brain that we don’t always get to in traditional talk therapy. EMDR is helpful in removing the emotional charge associated with traumatic experiences so that they no longer have the hold over you that you’re used to.
Through the process, I’ll support you on the path to self-understanding, self-acceptance, and self-compassion.
My approach is collaborative. I trust you as the expert of your story, and I’m here to guide you in uncovering your own internal resources and developing them from the inside out. I believe that when you know and accept yourself, meaningful change will occur.
